Insert Tooling
Hinge & Retainer Family Mold
A 4+2 cavity Hinge & Retainer Family Mold with hydraulic slides for precision. Designed for efficiency, it molds multiple parts in one cycle, reducing costs.
Cable Tie Tooling
Some examples of cable tie tooling with and without fir trees anywhere from single cavity prototypes to 32 cavity production tools.
Closure Tooling
Both parts are 8-cavity tools. The Ice Melt cap has internal threads for salt distribution, while the other lid fits multi-use containers. Over 5 million shots run.
Fir Tree Inserts
Plasticraft Molds is fully capable of making inserts for molding fir trees for the automotive industry. We designed and built automated equipment to be able to run unattended allowing a lower cost and faster lead times.
Larger scale tooling
Our tooling size varies from a 5” x 8” MUD unit to 42” x 60” mold base.
